Just your eyes, your feet, and a better vantage point.
Let’s dive in 👇
Don't wait until New Years to take control of your health.
Every year it’s the same - November comes, the days get dark and cold, you start skipping your morning workout, and you start to lose control of your health habits.
It’s easy to think “I’ll worry about getting back on track next year” - but there’s no reason you can’t get a head start now.
You just need a daily health habit that’s ACTUALLY easy to stick with.
That’s where AG1 comes in. With just one quick scoop every morning, you’ll get over 75 ingredients that help support your immune health, gut health, energy, and close nutrient gaps in your diet.

🟢 The Setup: Stop Standing Behind the Ball
Most golfers default to standing directly behind the ball or doing a full 360° lap around the putt.
But here’s the problem:
❌ Looking downhill makes slopes appear 25% flatter than they are
✅ Looking uphill gives you a true sense of the tilt
So next time, walk halfway between the ball and the hole — and look back uphill toward the ball.
This new angle gives your brain a more accurate read on what’s in front of you.
👀 Add Visual Anchors to Lock In the Break
Once you’re in the right spot, train your eyes to compare the terrain.
Here’s how:
✔️ Find one point slightly higher than the break
✔️ Find one point slightly lower
✔️ Ask: Which one is higher — and by how much?
This trick works because it gives your brain reference points. With just a couple of reps, you’ll start seeing slope more clearly than ever.
⛳️ Prioritize the End of the Putt
Break matters most near the hole. As the ball slows down, slope has more influence.
So if your putt has:
1% slope in the first half
3% slope in the second half
You shouldn’t average it at 2%. You should overweight the back half — in this case, treat it like a 2.5% slope.
That final section is what turns good reads into holed putts.
🧠 Key Takeaway
Want a Tour-level read? Don’t walk around the putt. Walk to the right spot.
✅ Stand below the hole
✅ Use visual references
✅ Overweight the final third of the putt
And if you want to take it even further, Tour coach Ralph Bauer built a full green reading system called Tour Read Golf to help you master this process on the course.
