Want That Pure Roll on Your Putts?
⛳️ Tilt your shoulders like this ⬇️
The Setup Secret for Perfect Roll
If you want your putts to start on line, hug the ground, and roll out like the pros—you need to understand what creates that pure roll at impact.
🚨 Here’s the key: The putter needs to be swinging slightly upward—about 1° up at impact—to create that ideal roll.
So how do we make that happen?
Let’s dive in 👇

🎯 Use These 3 Setup Lines
If you film yourself putting, use these three checkpoints as reference lines:
🔵 Blue Line (Belt Line) – Should be square and level
🟠 Orange Line (Shoulder Line) – Should be tilted slightly away from the target
🟡 Yellow Line (Spine) – Also tilted slightly away from the target
When your shoulders and spine are tilted slightly away from the target at setup, it encourages the putter to swing up through impact—producing that true, end-over-end roll we’re all chasing.
🧠 Bonus Tip: Watch how many great putters have just a touch of lean in their setup—it’s subtle, but it matters.
✅ Try this next time you’re on the putting green: film your stroke, check your tilt, and start rolling it like the best in the world.
