A Modern Move That Creates Power and Precision

This rising PGA Tour star has already proven he belongs—finishing second and third in his first two Masters appearances. It’s no fluke. He’s the real deal.

What stands out most in his swing? His ability to rotate cleanly around his spine, with minimal lateral movement. Here’s what you’ll notice:

  • ✅ Narrower-than-normal stance – less than shoulder-width apart, giving him full control over his pivot.

  • ✅ Small bump into the trail hip – a subtle load into the right side that starts his sequence without swaying.

  • ✅ Full-body coil – a great upper body turn with a stable lower half at the top of the swing.

  • ✅ Minimal forward slide – instead of drifting toward the target, he rotates into the ball.

  • ✅ Clean lower body rotation – especially visible in how his left ankle rotates around to clear the hips and torso.

Everything about this motion screams efficiency and consistency. It’s the kind of swing that holds up under pressure and works with every club in the bag.

What You Can Copy From This 🧠

If you’re someone who struggles with too much lateral motion, start here:

  • 🎯 Load into your trail hip in the backswing without swaying.

  • 🎯 Minimize any “bump” forward in transition.

  • 🎯 Feel like you’re rotating back and through around a fixed point—your spine.

Less slide, more rotation. That’s the key to cleaner contact, tighter dispersion, and more speed.
