The Simple Setup Trick to Control Wedge Trajectory

One of the easiest ways to improve your short game is learning how to control trajectory.

But most golfers try to do it by manipulating their swing, opening the face, leaning the shaft, adding or removing loft, or trying to “help” the ball into the air.

In reality, it can be much simpler than that.

Instead of changing your swing, you can control trajectory almost entirely through setup adjustments.

Gray Hair? This Is How You Reduce It Naturally

Dye fixes gray hair… by giving you a new problem: looking dyed. Particle Anti-Gray Serum is the all-natural, non-dye, no-mess solution for men who want their real color back, not a recreation of it.

The 5-second daily spray works gradually at the root to restore pigment for natural, visible results on your hair and beard.

Unlike hair dyes that aggressively color your hair and require annoying upkeep, Particle Anti-Gray Serum is clean and extremely easy to use. It stimulates the melanin inside the hair and does not use artificial color.

Stock Shot

For a standard wedge shot, you’re usually looking for a launch around 27–30°.
Setup keys:

  • Ball middle of stance

  • Nose over the golf ball

This produces a consistent launch that gives you the spin and control you need for that one-hop-and-stop wedge shot.

Low “Change-Up” Shot

When you want a shot that launches lower and runs out more:
Setup keys:

  • Ball one ball back of center

  • Trail ear over the golf ball

This small setup adjustment lowers the launch by a few degrees (around 25) without requiring any swing manipulation.

High Soft Shot

For a higher shot that lands softer:
Setup keys:

  • Ball one ball forward of center

  • Lead ear over the golf ball

This allows the club’s bounce and loft to help send the ball higher (around 35). The beauty of this system is that your swing doesn’t change, only the setup does.

That means fewer moving parts and much more consistency.
